Yes, I've been to the academy and I have subsequently completed four degrees. At one point in my life I received the "Call to Ministry" and I answered that call and became licensed in two protestant denominations. My commitment to humanity has led me to create a non-profit organization that serves the community in any way I can, from feeding the hungry and homeless, to educating children or providing therapy for persons in need of treatment. I've reared two children and I'm proud to say I'm still on the job although they are both adults pursuing their passions in the world.

I was born in Baltimore, Maryland to two outstanding parents (Dr. Jerusa & Gloria Wilson) who taught me to honor and love EVERYONE. After years of teaching, supervising, administrating, appearing on air, creating businesses and having a family, I've finally come to a place where I can do what I desire the most.... HEAL OTHERS! I utilize "Mindfulness" combined with techniques such as: Body & Brain Yoga, Art Expression, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dance/Movement Expression, Music Expression and other modalities as needed. I believe my clients can reduce their stress, anxiety, depression, hyperactivity and other debilitating illnesses and together we can begin to create a space of healing and positive change.

Yoga & Mindfulness

“An essential aspect of recovering from trauma is learning ways to calm down, or self-regulate. For thousands of years, yoga has been offered as a practice that helps one calm the mind and body. More recently, research has shown that yoga practices, including meditation, relaxation, and physical postures, can reduce autonomic sympathetic activation, muscle tension, and blood pressure, improve neuroendocrine and hormonal activity, decrease physical symptoms and emotional distress, and increase quality of life. For these reasons, yoga is a promising treatment or adjunctive therapy for addressing the cognitive, emotional, and physiological symptoms associated with trauma, and PTSD specifically.”

“The experience of trauma affects the entire human organism – body, mind and spirit – and the whole organism must be engaged in the healing process. Traditional trauma therapy is talk-based and focuses on the mind, the story, tending to neglect the physical, visceral and body-based dimension of trauma. Yoga, when skillfully employed, can uniquely address the physical needs of a trauma survivor, and provide a way for a trauma survivor to cultivate a friendly relationship to his or her body through gentle breath and movement practices.”
